Labovitz School of Business and Economics Awards Scholarships | Business
According to a press release, the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) at the University of Minnesota Duluth presented seven MBA Merit Scholarships for the academic year of 2012-2013 totaling $7,500.
Receiving the scholarships for their significant academic achievements and contributions to UMD’s MBA program are Jason Baskin, Bassem Fadlia, Angela Kasel, Amy Klima, Jessica Pospeck, Annie Thors, and Yanjun Wu.
LSBE’s Masters in Business Administration program is one of only five in Minnesota to have achieved and maintained the hard-earned accreditation of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Only one-third of the MBA programs in the United States have successfully completed the intense process of AACSB accreditation.
With the LSBE MBA program being offered in Duluth and Rochester, students may take classes on either campus - at UMD in a semester-long format of classes offered in the evenings Monday through Thursday, or at UMR in a weekend format offered on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
