Duluth Clean and Green Week | Community Spirit
Title (Max 100 Characters)
Duluth’s annual Clean & Green community clean-up will be taking place from April 8th-14th this year.
Throughout the week, community groups and volunteers will coordinate spring cleaning events in city parks, neighborhoods, business districts and waterfronts. According to a press release, Mayor Don Ness hopes to achieve a goal of 1000 hours of volunteerism throughout the city during Clean & Green Week, and in doing so, get our city cleaned and ready for another wonderful summer.
Community groups and individuals are invited and encouraged to participate in this city-wide endeavor. Contact Cheryl Skafte at the Duluth Parks and Recreation office at 218-730-4334 or cskafte@duluthmn.gov to sign up your group, to volunteer your time, or if you have any questions.
