Lake Superior Family Fun-Fest | Events

The Lake Superior Family Fun-Fest is coming to the DECC on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26. Fun-Fest Expo Hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. The carnival will remain open one hour after the Expo ends.

Admission is $6 per person (children 2 and under free with paid adult). $1 off coupons are available at www.lundeenproductions.com/funfest and at participating businesses.  Carnival Rides are additional. $15 for unlimited ride wristbands and $1 each for single tickets (most rides require 2 to 3 tickets).

Come get away from the winter blahs. Popular Nickelodeon characters Dora the Explorer and Diego will be on hand all weekend for meet and greets and magician Kelvin Saline’s Magic Village will perform stage shows Saturday and Sunday.

“Kids and parents are really looking for something fun to do this time of the year and with the winter blahs and cabin fever in full force we’ve created this event to give attendees a day of wholesome indoor fun not unlike what you’d see at a county fair” Tracy Lundeen, event promoter said in a press release. “We even have a full carnival like you’d see at the county fair in South Pioneer Hall.”
