"Making Tracks" Naturalist Program at Jay Cooke | Events

Jay Cooke State Park is offering a free MAKING TRACKS naturalist program on Saturday, March 23 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Learn about what animal tracks you encounter in the woods and what signs to look for. Make an animal track craft to take home.
Registration is required.
Interested participants can call the park at 218-384-4610 x. 227 to register. Attached is a flyer for the program. More info is found on the website at www.mndnr.gov/jaycooke Although the program is free, all vehicles entering a Minnesota State Park need a vehicle permit. Permits are either $5/day or $25/annual.
Please note that the only way into the park is through Thomson and Carlton on Highway 210. Our east entrance off of Hwy. 23 in Fond Du Lac is still closed.
