Joe Mauer Makes First Ever Trip To Duluth | Events
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Twins catcher Joe Mauer decided to spend his three-day All-Star break in Duluth. It's the first time he's ever visited the Twin Ports. Mauer says he came to the Northland to get away for a few days and relax. On Tuesday, Mauer ate lunch at Burrito Union before heading over to Northland Country Club. There, he played the full 18 hole course before signing some autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Mauer said he enjoyed the Northland course, and said he usually plays golf in Florida so the elevations on this course were nice. He also said he passed on some All-Star advice to teammate Michael Cuddyer, the Twins lone representative at Tuesday's All-Star game.
