UPDATE: Water Main Break in Downtown Duluth | Home & Garden

[Duluth, MN] - Due to a water main break, water has been shut off for residents and businesses located between 1st Ave East and 3rd Ave East and between East 2nd Street and East 3rd Street in Duluth.

Crews were called to 2nd Ave East and East 3rd Street on Tuesday afternoon for a possible water main break. Public Works Utility crews were on site immediately and discovered three breaks in the area.

According to a press release, crews worked until 4:00 a.m. this morning and have repaired one of the three breaks but will continue to work on site today.

Officials say the water will be shut off at 1st Ave East and 3rd Ave East and between East 2nd Street and East 3rd Street until leaks are repaired.

Motorists should use caution when driving in the area as 2nd Ave East and one lane of East 3rd Street are closed off for staff to make repairs.
