Info on East Duluth Street Work Presented Tuesday | News

The City of Duluth will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 12 to give details about work on Hawthorne Road, Vermilion Road and St. Marie Street planned for this summer.  The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria of Ordean East Middle School, 2900 East 4th Street.

The city described the project as follows:

Between 4th Street and Wallace Avenue, the project includes removal of the existing concrete pavement and curb and gutter; construction of new bituminous pavement and curb and gutter; water main replacement; storm sewer work and the construction of ADA pedestrian ramps.  The project also includes selective removal and replacement of concrete pavement at the intersections of Hawthorne Road and 1st Street and 2nd Streets.
